The Other Health Plan is a comprehensive solution for health improvement at the workplace. It provides:

• The tools to assess the health interests and needs of a population,
• A framework to create a wellness team, develop program strategy and measure results.

The solution will help the employer engage, educate and empower employees to create healthier habits and behaviors while impacting the overall workplace culture.

Our Goal

Our goal is to help employers to create health-supportive workplace cultures, improve individual health behaviors, reduce health risks and increase medical consumerism - being wise health care consumers.

Our Approach

The Other Health Plan understands that one size doesn't fit all and that each employer has unique needs and goals. That's why we've created a number of components from which employers can choose. We offer:

• Implementation Solutions: Our employer tools will help companies to develop a comprehensive plan that they can use to achieve their health improvement goals. For the broker selling The Other Health Plan, we provide a tool kit to help the broker feel confident in providing answers to clients on "Why wellness?" and "Why The Other Health Plan?"
• Electronic Tools: Our Health Risk Assessment (HRA), Personal Health Record (PHR) and Health Education Portal are designed to help employees as they seek to make lasting behavior changes.
• Coaching: We will offer access to personal, telephonic and electronic coaching services. Most adults know what they need to do to become healthier, they just need a coach to coach them to the solution that will work for them.
• Challenges: Our behavior-change incentive programs are intended to move participants along the behavior-change continuum, reduce risk factors, and improve behaviors.
• Consulting: We offer consulting to employer groups via phone, email and onsite. Some of the web-based tools in the Employer Solution Center will provide consulting guidance. Onsite consulting is available for an additional fee. The Other Health Plan clients will receive regular reports regarding employee participation and aggregate assessment results where applicable. So you can track how your efforts are impacting your employees and your workplace.
• Community Resources: The Other Health Plan will partner with existing community resources. Our intent is to encourage the use of existing resources and participation in local events.
• Public Speaking: The Other Health Plan can also provide speakers for events to associations, groups and conferences.
